HONG KONG BOULDERING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014

Mountaineering and Climbing Federation of Hong Kong, China, organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department funding, Hong Kong Bouldering Championships 2014 will be held GONATURE Climbing Gym, held in March 2014 29 and 30, 2009, as follows:

Competition Date: March 2014 29 and 30 (Saturday and Sunday) 

Venue: GONATURE Climbing Gym (14 Hing Yip Street, Kwun Tong Hing Industrial Building Room C2) 

Registration: completed application form together with a crossed check (payable to " China Hong Kong Mountaineering and Climbing Federation Limited ") 

return: So Kon Po, Causeway Bay, Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, Room 1013 

Capacity: 120 people (first come first served)

Ayo Mulai Melakukan Penelitian/Riset Panjat Tebing

Panjat tebing berkembang demikian cepat dan pesat, baik teknik, metode latihan dan fasilitas. Tidak heran  sekarang atlet panjat tebing Indonesia agak tertinggal dengan pemanjat luar negeri terutama eropa. Lead & boulder  pemanjat kita demikian tertinggal, sedangkan speed terutama speed record, pemanjat Indonesia belum begitu tertinggal, tidak perlu waktu lama untuk mengejar prestasi atlet panjat eropa terutama Rusia.
Beberapa penyebab prestasi kita tertinggal  dengan pemanjat eropa adalah:

1. Fasilitas latihan yang sangat berbeda antara Indonesia dan eropa. Atlet Indonesia didominasi latihan di outdoor/memanjat ke atas, sedangkan pemanjat eropa di tebing dan indoor (bouldering multiwall).
2. Skill pemanjat Indonesia tertinggal dengan pemanjat eropa
3. Pemanjat Indonesia kesempatan mengikuti kompetisi world cup sedikit
4. Jalur kompetisi dan latihan yang di Indonesia sangat berbeda dengan eropa.
5. Pemanjat Indonesia akhir-akhir ini kurang suka berlatih di tebing alam, padahal di tebing alam kaya akan variasi teknik dan jalur.

KIA WORLD EXTREME GAMES

The Speed Climbing Competition at the Kia World Extreme Games will host men and women competing for $50,000 in prize money. The competition is sanctioned by the IFSC and is open to athletes from around the world

The deadline to submit applications is Wednesday, 12 March 2014 at 23:55, Bangkok Time (UTC/GMT +7 hours). Please note, the completion of the Speed Climbing Application does not guarantee a spot in the competition. All climbers will be emailed of their status by receiving an Official Invitation or Alternate Notification by 16.00 Bangkok Time (UTC/GMT +7 hours) on Friday, 14 March 2014.

* Competition may be delayed due to inclement weather.

Competition Format
The World Extreme Games Speed Format is not a typical IFSC speed route. The wall is up to 15 meters high and overhangs 4 meters with two roofs. Athletes should expect dynamic movement including dynos and dead points as well movement left and right on the wall.

Prize Money (USD) - $50,000 to be split between Men's and Women's competition.

About the Kia World Extreme Games 2014
The Kia World Extreme Games is the most prestigious multi-event, action sports competition worldwide and in 2013 this4 day event will be staged in Shanghai, China for the first time. More than 100 athletes will compete in BMX freestyle, aggressive in-line skating, skateboarding, speed climbing and Moto X “Step Up” competition
